ACT Policing is seeking public assistance to identify a male offender involved in an assault which occurred on East Row, Civic on Friday morning, July 10. About 1.30am, the 25-year-old male victim attempted to intervene in a fight between two groups of males before an unknown offender struck him, causing him to then strike his head against a concrete wall.
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred in Civic on Sunday, July 5. Around 6am a 45-year-old male victim was approached by a man holding a knife on City Walk between Akuna Street and Binara Street, Civic. The offender demanded money and the victim opened his wallet. The offender stole a small sum of cash and fled in the direction of the Canberra Casino.

ACT Policing is seeking public assistance to identify a male offender after an assault earlier this year that left one young man with a broken nose and fractured eye socket and a second with a cut lip. The incident occurred about 5.35pm on Saturday February 14, the weekend of the Multicultural Festival, near the water fountain at the Canberra Centre entrance on Ainslie Avenue in Civic.
ACT Policing is investigating the assault of an 18-year-old man outside the ICBM and Meche nightclubs on Northbourne Avenue around 1am on Sunday (June 21). Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify the suspect (pictured) who is described by a witness as male, being of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean appearance, approximately 30-years-old, 183-185cm (6’-6’1”) tall, with a solid build, brown eyes and a shaved head. At the time of the offence he was wearing a dark blue hooded jumper and jeans.
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a theft incident in Civic 9/6/2009 where a large quantity of medication was stolen from a vehicle. About 4.30pm police were advised that two tourists had returned to their vehicle in a carpark off London Circuit to find it had been broken into. A search of the vehicle revealed that three backpacks containing large quantities of heart, diabetes and other medication had been stolen. ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery of a business on Alinga Street, City June 4. About 4.50pm a male offender entered the Cash Stop Financial Services store and pushed a bag under a barrier before threatening a female staff member with what she believed to be a firearm and demanded money.
