ACT Policing: 21-year-old Reid Man faces court on multiple traffic charges

A 21-year-old Reid man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, June 7) on six traffic charges and a breach of bail after he was apprehended by police driving in the inner Canberra area around noon yesterday. Police activated warning lights and siren and attempted a traffic stop on the red Ford Laser in Donaldson Street, Braddon shortly after midday. The driver refused to stop, and a pursuit was engaged. The driver was seen to exceed the speed limit in Elimatta Street and Ainslie Avenue, Braddon, and to ignore two stop signs. Speeds reached around 85km/h. The driver halted …

Crimestoppers: Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Braddon (29 December 2009)

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred in Braddon yesterday (December 29). Around 10.55pm a man in possession of a knife entered a liquor store on Lonsdale Street and demanded money. The man working behind the counter complied with the demand. The entire incident took less than a minute after which the offender ran from the store with a substantial amount of cash in an easterly directly along Elouera Street. Nobody was injured during the incident.

Crimestoppers: Police release footage of service station robbery – Braddon (17 November 2009)

ACT Policing has released CCTV footage of an aggravated robbery which occurred in Braddon last Tuesday (November 17). Around 3.55am (November 17) a man armed with a knife entered the Caltex service station on Lonsdale Street demanding money from a staff member. During the incident the offender jumped the service counter and left the location with a sum of cash and cigarettes. The man was last seen heading towards Haig Park, Braddon.

ACT Policing is investigating and seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery which occurred in Braddon this morning. About 3.55am Tuesday, November 17 a man armed with a knife has entered the Caltex service station, Braddon demanding money from a staff member. During the incident the male offender has jumped the service counter and left the location with a sum of cash and cigarettes. The man was last seen heading towards Haig Park, Braddon.
