Small and Micro Business Forum (16 September 2009)

ACT Government LogoAn opportunity for small or micro business owners to give their views to Government.

The ACT Government is hosting an open business forum for small and micro businesses. Expert facilitator Jenny Brockie will guide business owners through an open conversation about the challenges of being in business in the ACT. This is an opportunity for you to put your ideas on the Government’s forward agenda.

What?
Small and Micro Business Forum

When?
16 September 2009, 4.30 pm–7 pm (followed by networking)

Where?
Hotel Realm, 18 National Circuit, Barton

A key objective is to capture ideas and issues of concern to business owners, share information, gather new perspectives and discuss potential solutions in a structured manner. In addition the Forum will provide an opportunity for our small local businesses to engage with government representatives responsible for programs and services that assist small businesses.

While Government will not be able to solve all problems or issues raised at the Forum, there is a genuine commitment to listen and identify systemic issues that the Government has a role in addressing and to provide a report back mechanism on possible future directions.
