Crimestoppers: Police investigating incident in Turner (07 March 2010)

ACT Policing is currently investigating an incident in Condamine Street, Turner that occurred early this morning (7 March).

Around 12.50am, police responded after receiving reports that two males had been stabbed following a fight at the location. ACT Ambulance Service treated three males at the scene before transporting them to the Canberra Hospital.

A 43-year-old male remains in a critical condition with serious stomach injuries after being stabbed multiple times.

A 35-year-old male and 39-year-old male are also receiving treatment for their injuries.

All three males are assisting police with their inquiries and investigations are continuing at the scene.

    Man arrested following knife incident in Turner

    ACT Policing has arrested a 35-year-old Campbell man following a knife incident in Condamine Street, Turner which occurred early Sunday (7 March).

    Around 12.50am police responded to reports of two men who had been stabbed following a fight. ACT Ambulance Service treated three men at the scene before transporting them to The Canberra Hospital.

    The 35-year-old man and a 39-year-old man received treatment for their injuries and were later released from hospital. A 43-year-old man remains in hospital in a stable condition after receiving multiple wounds to his torso.

    The 35-year-old man will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (8 March) charged with intentionally inflict grievous bodily harm, recklessly inflict actual bodily harm and possess knife without reasonable excuse.

    The investigation continues.
