On Monday 3 August 2009, the ACT Minister for the Environment, Climate Change and Water announced a call for tenders to design two wetlands ponds, worth $13.9 million dollars, in Dickson and Lyneham.
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an incident Friday, July 31, 2009 in which a Mazda vehicle parked in Dickson had been broken into and photographic equipment valued around $25,000 stolen from it. The vehicle, a Mazda Tribute, had been parked and secured in the public carpark bounded by Woolley and Cape Streets in Dickson between 6.15pm and 6.45pm.
