Grevillea Park Master Plan – Drop-in information session 19 November

The Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate invites you to attend a drop-in information session regarding the Grevillea Park Master plan. The Master plan has been developed using urban design and planning principles to provide a vision for Grevillea Park as a recreational hub for community use. The National Capital Authority, which is responsible for the management of Lake Burley Griffin, supports the development of water-based recreational facilities at Grevillea Park.

Chief Minister Responds to our motion on light rail stops

At our October meeting we passed a motion that called on the ACT Government, if it does build the light rail, to commit to: * building all of the fifteen light rail stops shown in the September Industry Briefing presentation unless there is a business case that clearly demonstrates the advantages of having fewer stops; * publishing the criteria that it intends to use to determine which stops to retain; and * conducting public consultation on which stops should be retained. On 4 November the Chief Minister provided the following response:

Campbell Section 5 update – National Capital Authority works approval

Campbell Section 5 is a proposed multi-storey mixed use development on the north east corner of the intersection of Anzac Parade and Constitution Avenue.  The NCA invites interested people and organisations to provide written comments on the proposed Campbell Section 5 Display Suite by close of business on 21 November 2014.
