SPECIAL RESOLUTION
“That Clause 1 of the Constitution of the North Canberra Community Council be amended to add the words ‘Canberra City,‘ to the list of North Canberra neighbourhoods.”
The amended Clause 1 would then become:
1.Name
The name of the council shall be the North Canberra Community Council (hereinafter called “the Council”).
North Canberra consists of the neighbourhoods of Campbell, Reid, Braddon, Ainslie, Canberra City, Dickson, Downer, Hackett, Watson, Lyneham, North Lyneham, O’Connor, Turner, Acton, Duntroon, Russell, and Pialligo.
Possible amendment: rewrite in alphabetical order: Acton, Ainslie, Braddon, Campbell, Canberra City, Dickson, Downer, Duntroon, Hackett, Lyneham, North Lyneham, O’Connor, Pialligo, Reid, Russell, Turner and Watson.
