I would like to see some attention paid to the large number of Lyneham residents over the age of 65. There are more of them than there are children, but we hear little about their needs. A lot is said about children and families. Are old people all locked up at home? When people talk about community, it rarely seems to include thinking about older people out and about, participating and contributing.

Self-interest is a wonderful thing.
Wait for the next Census analysis ?
ABS 2011 Data are OBSOLETE and Partial ?
Helen’s “children” must exclude all those teenagers who are >14 <18 ?
Lyneham residents Aged 0 – 14 = 11%
while aged 65 and older = 14.2%
Very Hard to credit that none of the 15 – 24 cohort in Lyneham are not < 18 !!!
