The ACT Department of Treasury is seeking input from interested community and business groups, industry, unions and individuals to share their views and suggestions on the key savings measures and options for raising revenue for consideration in the 2010-11 ACT Budget.
A key objective for the Government is returning the Budget to surplus. The department welcomes the community’s input into this process to ensure savings are achieved whilst the delivery of services is maintained in high priority areas.
All ideas and proposals are most welcome, and can be submitted directly to the Budget Consultation Website www.treasury.act.gov.au/budgetconsultation, which also features valuable background information on the state of the Budget.
