See-Change Inner North: Winter-wising your Windows (22 June 2009)

SEE Change ACT logoOn Monday 22 June, SEE-Change ACT Inner North will be holding a public talk on window insulation options.

Windows can be a major source of heat loss on cold Canberra nights. Single glazed windows can be up to 10 times worse at insulating, when compared to the same area of standard wall material. So what are the options when it comes to Window Insulation? Whether you are a renter or a homeowner, come learn about the best ways to keep the heat in and what it will cost.

Peter Miller from the Home Energy Advice Team will lead a discussion on curtains, pelmets, and all the various ways of double-glazing.

When: Monday, 22, June 2009
Time: 6:30pm
Where: O’Connor Uniting Church, Cnr Scrivener / Brigalow St, O’Connor
