North Canberra Community Council will be celebrating WINTER SOLSTICE 2017 at its NEW VENUE on a NEW WEEK NIGHT, and a free light supper will be provided with vegetarian, gluten free and Halal options. Monthly meetings will be held on the third WEDNESDAY of each month at the heritage-listed Downer Community Hall in Frencham Place, opposite the newly renovated Downer Shops.
Haig Park Draft Master Plan will be presented, and discussions will include a proposed new multi-age playground and a draft framework for revitalising community engagement via a Community Brief for Dickson Parklands/Section 72.
