Crimestoppers: Witnesses sought to armed robbery at Caltex Braddon

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an armed robbery at the Caltex service station in Braddon which occurred around 3:10am this morning (Thursday 10 June).

Two males entered the service station, jumped over the counter and assaulted the male store attendant. The offenders also threatened the attendant with a baseball bat and a knife. The offenders stole an amount of cash and cigarettes.

One of the offenders is described as having an Asian appearance, about 175 centimetres tall (5’9”), with a solid build. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper as well as a red beanie on his head (under hood).

The other offender is described as being about 170 to 173 centimetres tall (5’7” to 5’8”) with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper and a black balaclava.

Police would urge anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the vicinity of Braddon or who knows the identity of the offenders to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
