ACT Policing is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a male who stole a female cavoodle puppy worth around $1200 from its glass pen in a Bunda St, Civic pet shop on Wednesday afternoon (September 9).
Around 4.30pm on Wednesday, a male who had been browsing in the store, Pets Paradise, is captured on CCTV lifting up the black-and-white puppy, putting it under his jumper, and leaving the store.
The male offender is described as wearing a high visibility yellow and green jumper, blue cargo pants and brown workboots.
The cavoodle (part Cavalier spaniel, part miniature poodle) puppy is female and black in colour, with a white chest.
Police are urging any witnesses who may recognise the offender, or may have information about the puppy’s whereabouts and can assist the police investigation to call Crime Stoppers.
