The ACT Government is inviting applications for the 2009-10 round of the Community Support and Infrastructure Grants program. Community organisations are encouraged to apply for the substantial funding available to assist their work.
The 2009-10 Community Support and Infrastructure Grants will provide $500,000 for new and innovative projects undertaken by community organisations, including sporting groups, providing key services to ACT residents
The objective of the program is to fund projects that
- support the viability and capacity of the community sector,
- assist community organisations to access equipment and technology resources and/or
- improve the environmental sustainability of community facilities.
The Grants will fund community based projects and equipment acquisitions up to $30,000 per project and capital works projects up to $50,000 per project.
Eligible community groups are encouraged to submit their applications before the closing date of Monday 24 August 2009.
