Water Tanks – SEE-Change Inner North (23 April 2009)

On  Thursday 23rd April, SEE-Change ACT Inner North will be holding a meeting focusing on Water Tanks. The presentation will attempt to answer your questions: What size to get? How to locate and set up a tank? What rebates are available? The meeting starts at 6pm with food and refreshments available. Presentations will begin at 6.45pm. On-site child-minding is provided. Clean up your local bush land on Clean Up Australia Day – (1 March 2009)

The Friends of Mount Majura has registered a Clean up Australia Day site located north of the old Ainslie tip site. On their walks to map rabbit warrens, they have found the area badly littered. They hope to attract the wider public to this first bush clean-up. When: Sunday, 1 March from 9.00am to 4.00pm Where: meet at car parking area Kellaway Street, Hackett; visit www.majura.org for a map of the clean-up site and meeting point.
