Territory and Municipal Services will be renewing seven play spaces across the ACT in the 2009-10 financial year. The Playground Safety Program is an ongoing capital works program that renews ACT play spaces in line with Australian and ACT Standards.
A consultant will be engaged in August 2009 to prepare the design and manage the construction of the new play spaces. To inform the design of the renewed play spaces TAMS is seeking comment on the play space renewals.
In the Inner North, the Cockle Street local play space is scheduled for renewal.
