Deed of Agreement: Australian Heritage Village site redevelopment

The NCCC, Watson Community Association, Friends of Mount Majura, The Conservation Council ACT Region and the Village Building Company have signed a deed of agreement to minimise environmental and traffic impacts associated with The Fair residential development on the Australian Heritage Village site in north Watson.

Canberra Times: Wine group plans $15m hotel complex

The National Capital Authority has recently issued Draft Development Control Plan (DCP) No:171/10/0002 in response to proposals for a renewed service station/restaurant on the Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) site; and a $15million hotel complex on the Kamberra winery site on Northbourne Avenue in north Canberra. Legislative Assembly: Discussion Paper to Seek Feedback on Higher Density Residential Development Policies

Today the Standing Committee on Planning, Public Works and Territory and Municipal Services released a Discussion Paper on existing residential redevelopment policies in inner north Canberra. The Discussion Paper aims to inform submissions to the Committee’s current inquiry into RZ3 (Urban) and RZ4 (Medium Density) residential redevelopment policies.
