ACT Government IrrigationSmart trial

The ACT Government is trialling a new program called IrrigationSmart. The trial will assist 200 ACT residents who have automated (programmable) drip irrigation systems to use their system in the most water-efficient way to maintain a healthy garden. Participants in the trial receive: a visit from an irrigation specialist to assess the condition and effectiveness of their automated drip irrigation system; a written report containing the advice and recommendations made by the irrigation specialist; a FREE rain gauge; and are eligible to apply for a rebate of up to $100 for improvements to their irrigation system or garden’s water efficiency.
