Topics:
(1) Shane Rattenbury will introduce and discuss The Residential Tenancies (Minimum Standards) Act Amendment Bill 2011, which seeks to set minimum standards for properties that are made available for rent in the ACT. This would include public housing where the Government is the landlord.
(2) Shannon Savage from AECOM will introduce the Proposed improvements to the Belconnen to City Transitway. The ACT Government is investing $7.5million to enhance sustainable transport options in the corridor from 2010 to 2014. A short powerpoint presentation will provide information about the project and an opportunity to provide feedback.
