The Land Development Agency (LDA) invites residents, business
owners and community groups from Campbell to have their say on
the future of Campbell Section 5.

Campbell Section 5 is ACT Government owned land located on the
northern edge of Constitution Avenue and east of Anzac Parade.
Consultation is ongoing, and the LDA is working with the local
community to design a master plan for the future of the site.

The LDA has used feedback from the community along with
technical studies to develop a range of design options for the master
plan.

We are now inviting members of the community to attend a Design
Options Workshop for the opportunity to hear project updates and
select a preferred option which will contribute to the overall master
plan.

For your chance to get involved, come along to the Design Options
Workshop on Saturday 12 November 2011.
Where: St John’s Church, 43 Constitution Avenue, Reid
When: Saturday 12 November 2011 (11.00am – 2.00pm)
RSVP: by Friday 4 November 2011 to

  1. Since Constitution Avenue is going to become much more built up, it’s essential that enough visible and available parkland is planned for this remaining open space. Fortunately there is enough land to build quite a lot of medium density housing while still keeping a good-sized park.

  2. I feel that a medium-high density development would be appropriate for this site due to its’ close proximity to the city and public transport connections. I’m completely for infill and totally against continuing the endless sprawl of Canberra.
