Draft ACT climate change strategy?
On January 29 the ACT Minister for Climate Change informed the NCCC that the Government has begun community consultation on the next ACT climate change strategy.
Should we invite the ACT Climate Change and Energy Policy Branch and/or the Conservation Council to discuss the draft strategy?
Draft Nature Conservation Strategy 2026-2036
- Consultation closes 23 March. The consultation is available online, and includes the draft strategy and a summary.
Aquatic strategy
Does the NCCC wish to provide feedback on the scope of the proposed strategy. In a mis-directed email dated 28 January, the Minister for Sport and Recreation invited feedback to SportandRecreation@act.gov.au by 13 February.
