For those interested in the history of Canberra, a new edition of Alan Foskett’s book, “The Campbell Community: the history of the Canberra suburb of Campbell 1957-2008 (and before)” has been printed with generous support from the NCCC. The original book, which helped to celebrate the suburb’s 50th Anniversary, was launched towards the end of 2008 by Sir Richard Kingsland at the Campbell Primary School. It was funded by the ACT Heritage Grants Scheme, and as well as being very popular, made significant contribution to Canberra’s heritage and history. This new edition includes the addition of some new stories and memories of Campbell. Some short videos of an interview with the author can be viewed here.
