  1. Community Consultation – Future Use of 91A Wakefield Gardens, Ainslie

Infrastructure Canberra is undertaking a community engagement process regarding the future use of the site. “This presents a valuable opportunity to work with the community and stakeholders like the NCCC to explore how this space could be used in the future.”

How can the wishes of the community be incorporated into this community facilities site and surrounding park noting the site constraints including the heritage-listed gardens, mature trees with large canopies, the size of the block, and the heritage requirements for the precinct?

Guest Speakers: Kyla Kerkow, Executive Group Manager – Pipeline, Capability and Estate, Infrastructure Canberra.

These activities are designed to gather a broad range of views from residents, service providers, and other interested stakeholders. Community engagement will run from 15 September to 7 November 2025. After this period, we will review all feedback and share a summary of what we heard.
