ACT Policing has arrested a 59-year-old Lyneham woman for an aggravated burglary in Turner last year.
Police will allege that the woman assaulted, bound and gagged an 87-year-old female victim in her own home on the 23 November 2009. The woman then allegedly stole a number of items including the contents of the victim’s handbag and her vehicle.
The alleged offender will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday 26 March) charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, forcible confinement, aggravated burglary, take motor vehicle without authority and theft.
