Also known as the Braddon Club (Block 5) and the Northbourne Oval (Block 6)
CDRL (Canberra District Rugby League) has determined not to proceed with the existent development approval for Block 5, and have engaged a team of master-planners, architects and landscape architects to reconsider block 5 for a new development application to be lodged later this year. It is intended to replace the current commercial and apartment building development with lower density mix of terrace type townhousing and apartments. Within this assessment, landscape works and master-planning of block 6 and the surrounding verge areas is also invisaged.
