Crimestoppers logoACT Policing is seeking assistance from members of the public after a running fire hose caused in excess of $20,000 worth of damage to a number of Dickson businesses in the early hours of Friday morning (December 18).

Police were called to a building on the corner of Woolley Street and Badham Street about 9.00am Friday morning after businesses located within the premises found their shops had been extensively damaged by water.

Further investigations found that access had been gained to the first floor car park and the fire house unrolled and left running for an unknown period of time.

Police are seeking any witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity in the area some time between 11.00pm on Thursday night and 7.00am on Friday morning.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
